Nice to Meet You

Hi, I’m Sara Pasquale, Attorney and Owner of Pasquale Law. My journey has been a long and winding road, which has ultimately lead me to Christ and to serving my community in accordance with His law through love of Him and my neighbors. My number one goal as your attorney is to provide caring legal services, despite your background or our differences, while maintaining the highest ethical and moral standards. Finally, I often hear complaints involving lack of communication with lawyers. I vow to set expectations on how and when to best communicate and, above all, I vow to provide open and honest updates on the status of your case. My licensures include the State of Nevada, the Federal District Court for the District of Nevada, the State of Arizona, the State of Iowa, the Federal District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa, and the State of Missouri.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Do You Specialize In?

Nothing (or everything)! Not the answer you were expecting. In today’s legal world, it seems that most attorneys “specialize” in a particular field. Yet, as attorneys, we are trained in most aspects of the law, meaning that we have the tools to become competent in any area.

Pasquale Law is able to offer a wide range of services in several areas of the law. Check out our Services page for more details and pricing.

How Much Do Your Services Cost?

Your initial consultation is always free. Visit our Contact page to schedule some time to chat, or find pricing details on specific projects on our Services page.

Do You Work with Low Income Clients?

I work with clients from various backgrounds and with various incomes. If you are in need of an attorney and my stated fee is too high, please tell me what you can afford. I will happily try to work something out with you.

How Much Experience Do You Have?

My experience ranges from defending against criminal charges (from traffic violations and OWI/DUIs to murder), litigating hundreds of civil matters from start to finish, reviewing and drafting contracts and leases for many clients including small businesses and talent, and preparing dozens of simple estate plans. If you have a specific question about my experience, please send me an email at contact@pasqualelaw.com.

Do I Have to Meet You at Your Office?

No! One of the benefits of the modern world is that we can have a variety of ways in which we can meet. I will happily set up a phone or video call with you, travel to meet you in-person, or meet you at my office.

What Is Your Approach to Representing Clients?

Ethical behavior, client service, and quality legal advice. Attorneys have an ethical code we must abide by. There are attorneys that skirt the rules or search for loopholes. We are not those attorneys, and we will never compromise our ethical standards.

Beyond ethics, it is important to provide topnotch client service. Our clients should be informed and involved in the process. Part of client service is assuring clients have realistic expectations on the outcome of the case, and it is our job to set those expectations.

Finally, quality legal advice must be at the forefront of all we do here at Pasquale Law. We strive to avoid frivolous work and will be honest about how the law looks for your particular matter.

Have You Ever Been Disciplined by the State Bar or Similar?

No. Each state has a public database of all licensed attorneys, which indicates when the attorney gained licensure, the current status of the attorney, and whether there has been any discipline. Therefore, you’re able to search the names of our attorneys in each state in which we're licensed to verify that we have never been disciplined.

What Is the Typical Legal Process Like?

It depends on the specifics of your case. Pasquale Law does not offer a one-size-fits-all approach. Rather, we will take the time to learn about your situation, your goals, and your timeline. After assessing the situation, we will be able to better provide you with next steps and an approximate timeline.

What Areas Do You Provide Legal Services in?

Our law firm proudly serves clients in Des Moines, Altoona, Ankeny, and Ames, Iowa. We are dedicated to offering comprehensive legal services to individuals and businesses in these communities. If you are in need of legal assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us.
